         Harry and Voldemort engage in a final climactic duel. Harry reveals that because he willingly sacrificed himself to death by Voldemort's hand, his act of love would protect the Wizarding community from Voldemort in the same way the sacrifice Harry's mother made protected Harry. Harry also reveals that Snape was never loyal to Voldemort and did not murder Dumbledore (Snape killed Dumbledore at Dumbledore's request). Voldemort, who murdered Snape, was never the master of the Elder Wand. Draco was the master of the Elder Wand after disarming Dumbledore, but Harry disarmed Draco at Malfoy Manor, making Harry the true master of the Elder Wand. The wand refused to kill the one to whom it had allegiance, further protecting Harry. During the duel, Harry refuses to use the killing curse and even encourages Voldemort to feel remorse, one known way to restore Voldemort's shattered soul. Voldemort dies when his own killing curse backfires; he and his Death Eaters are finally defeated. The wizarding world is able to live in peace once more.

     On the dark side of the world, Draco Malfoy's mother makes Snape swear he will protect Draco. To everyone's surprise, Snape takes a post he has long coveted: professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Meanwhile, emotions between Harry, Ron and Hermione are at an all-time high when Ron starts dating Lavender. Harry is caught between Ron and Hermione's cross fire, which doesn't end until Ron is poisoned.

      Dumbledore shares with Harry his theory that Voldemort's soul was split into seven parts, called Horcruxes, to attain immortality. If all his Horcruxes are destroyed, Voldemort is a goner for good. Dumbledore and Harry review all the memories about Voldemort that Dumbledore has collected in order to figure out where the Horcruxes might be located.

      Harry and Dumbledore seek out the third Horcrux. Upon their return, Voldemort's Dark Mark looms over Hogwarts — the Death Eaters have infiltrated the school. Draco is ordered to kill Dumbledore but hesitates, so Snape performs the killing instead. Dumbledore's Army defends the campus until the Order of the Phoenix arrives to give chase to the Death Eaters. The Horcrux in Harry's possession turns out to be a fake.

     

     The students, professors and ghosts at Hogwarts are immensely saddened by Dumbledore's death. There is talk of closing down the school for good. Harry ends his budding romance with Ginny to protect her from Voldemort. Harry also decides to leave Hogwarts, and vows to find the remaining four Horcruxes with Ron and Hermione's help.

       Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth in the Harry Potter series written by J. K. Rowling, and was published on 21 June 2003 by Bloomsbury in the United Kingdom, Scholastic in the United States, and Raincoast in Canada. Five million copies were sold in the first 24 hours after release.

     The story begins in the 1940s in a small town called Little Hangleton, describing how the Riddle family was mysteriously killed at supper, and how their groundsman, Frank Bryce, was suspected of the crime, then declared innocent due to lack of evidence. In 1994, Frank Bryce, now an elderly man, wakes in the night to see a light in the window of the abandoned Riddle House. He investigates and overhears Lord Voldemort and Peter Pettigrew (also known as Wormtail) plotting to kill a boy named Harry Potter. Voldemort's snake, Nagini, notices Bryce and informs Voldemort; Voldemort invites Bryce inside and, after revealing he knows everything about Bryce, kills him on the spot.

      The scene then shifts to Harry Potter as he wakes in the night with a throbbing pain in his scar. The next morning, Harry's Uncle Vernon receives a letter from the Weasleys asking Harry to join them at the Quidditch World Cup, and reluctantly agrees to let Harry go. Harry is brought to The Burrow the next day. Early the next morning, the Weasleys, Harry and Hermione head off to the Quidditch World Cup. They travel by Portkey, an object which wizards use to travel quickly to another linked destination. While traveling, they meet Cedric Diggory, another Hogwarts student. At their seat, Harry, Ron, and Hermione meet Winky, a house-elf who says she is saving a seat for her master, Bartemius 'Barty' Crouch. That night, after the game, a crowd of Death Eaters (followers of Voldemort) destroy the campground and torture its Muggle owners. Harry, Hermione and Ron escape by fleeing into the woods, where Harry discovers that his wand is missing. Moments later, someone fires Voldemort's symbol, the Dark Mark, using Harry's wand. Winky is found holding Harry's wand at the scene of the crime; Mr Crouch fires her as punishment for associating his name with the Dark Mark. Later at the Burrow, Cedric's father brings news that a man named Mad-Eye Moody attacked an intruder at his house, forcing Arthur to sort it out.

     the night before Harry's thirteenth birthday, when he receives gifts by owl post from his friends at school. The next morning at breakfast, Harry sees on television that a man named Black is on the loose from prison. At this time, Aunt Marge comes to stay with the Dursleys, and she insults Harry's parents numerous times. Harry accidentally causes her to inflate. Harry leaves the Dursley's house and is picked up by the Knight Bus, but only after an alarming sighting of a large, black dog. The Knight Bus drops Harry off at Diagon Alley, where he is greeted by Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic. He rents a room and awaits the start of school. In Diagon Alley, Harry finishes his schoolwork, admires a Firebolt broomstick in the window of a shop, and after some time, finds his friends Ron and Hermione. At a pet shop, Hermione buys a cat named Crookshanks, who chases Scabbers, Ron's aging pet rat. Ron is most displeased. The night before they all head off to Hogwarts, Harry overhears Ron's parents discussing the fact that Sirius Black is after Harry.

Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets

      During the summer before his inevitable discovery of the Chamber of Secrets, Harry meets a house elf (Dobby).  The elf warns him not go to school and he has big eyes.  Harry ignores the gesture.  Dobby causes a ruckus and gets Harry in trouble with the Magical Law.  Dobby 1, Harry 0.  Harry ends up trying to get through platform 9 3/4 to catch his train ride to school and Dobby blocks the entrance barrier.  Dobby 2, Harry 0.  Harry and Ron take a flying car to school in order to circumvent the house elf’s hassles.  Dobby 2, Harry 1.  Harry and Ron crash into a huge tree that is skilled in boxing.  Dobby 2, Tree 1, Harry injured.

      Harry and friends go to classes and Halloween rolls around and someone opens up the Chamber of Secrets.  The Chamber of Secrets supposedly houses a monster that the heir of Slytherin can control.  Slytherin members are the antagonists in this magical tale.  The monster is unleashed and people without magical parents are becoming petrified.  This upsets Harry, so he embarks on a mission to find the Chamber of Secrets.

       Harry Potter is a bullied kid who wears baggy clothes and has a scar on his forehead.  He lives in a closet under the stairs, has glasses and the list goes on.  He is spending another gift less birthday when a giant announces that, “You’re a wizard Harry!”  Finally some good news.  I imagine if the giant approached Bernie Madoff he would have said, “You’re a scam artist Bernie!”

       Wizards go to school to learn magic.  Harry’s school is called Hogwarts.  He makes some friends named Ron and Hermione.  Ron has red hair and Hermione is nerdy.  The three wizard musketeers are cavalier and go on some adventures.  They get in trouble and Harry plays a sport on broomsticks, called Quidditch.  They discover what the sorcerer’s stone is.  It grants the holder infinite life and turns metal into gold.  Not bad.

      The wizard who must not be named is seeking the sorcerer’s stone to come back into power.  I will name him, it’s Voldemort.  The reason he needs the stone is because he’s weak.  He tried killing Harry as a baby and his spell backfired.  Killing babies is frowned upon in the wizarding world and yields negative results.
