Tells of a Puddle-duck named Jemima whose eggs are routinely confiscated by the farmer's wife. Jemima then left and search for a place away from the farm so she can hatch her eggs without being taken away from her.
She then came across a fox and naively confides her troubles to him who invites her to have her nest in a shed at his home. Jemima willingly accepts without realizing her danger, that the fox plans to kill and roast her.
Kep, a collie dog on the farm, discovers Jemima's whereabouts and he along with two fox-hound puppies rescues Jemima just in time from the fox.
